Reproductive Freedom

For nearly 50 years, the right to choose had been protected by the Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade, but today that right is under threat, more than it has been in a generation.

I believe the decisions a woman makes for her body, and her family are deeply personal and politicians have no place telling her what she can and cannot do. For nearly 50 years, the right to choose had been protected by the Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade, but today that right is gone, and women are threatened more than they have been in a generation. In Congress, I’ll vote to codify the protections earned from the Roe v. Wade decision into federal law to preserve the ability of Nebraska women to make the reproductive health decisions that work best for them.
